Former model couple Thuy Hang and Thuy Hanh are born in the year of the Snake, and share the same birthday on February 4, which coincides with this year's Lunar New Year . Both have very special preparations to welcome their new age.
Sharing with reporters, Thuy Hang - Thuy Hanh said that their family still celebrates Tet according to tradition. On the morning of the first day, the extended family will gather at the paternal home, in the afternoon they will gather at the maternal home and visit temples and pagodas in Hanoi. On the second day, they spend time visiting and congratulating relatives and friends. On the third day, the extended family will leave Hanoi for a spring outing.

This year, her small family also celebrated Tet in two regions, the North and the South. Thuy Hanh's husband - musician Minh Khang and her daughter Suli - stayed in Ho Chi Minh City to celebrate Tet to take care of the Tet offerings for her husband's parents. Thuy Hanh and Suti went to Hanoi to celebrate Tet with their grandmother.
The twins shared that in recent years, because there are still events held in Phu Quoc at the beginning of the year, the two families and their mother will combine work and spring travel here.
Thuy Hanh shared: "This year, we will celebrate the new year and new age in a more special place, a place that family members have never been to."
The former model added that they were both born in the middle of 2 years so they often celebrate their birthdays during Tet and according to the lunar calendar, they are always "older" by 2 years.
"Sometimes, we still tease our mother that there are still 3 days left until the new year, but she doesn't try a little harder, to let us have the year of the Horse, because girls born in the year of the Snake seem to have too much trouble and hardship... (laughs).
According to folk beliefs, the year of the year is an unlucky year, with many difficulties and obstacles in work and life. However, there are also opinions that the year of the year is a year of success and luck. Thuy Hang and Thuy Hanh (born in 1978) are famous twins in the Vietnamese modeling industry. They became "catwalk phenomena" in the 1990s. After nearly 20 years in the modeling industry, both have settled down.
While developing her career, Thuy Hang chose to marry a Doctor of Economics at the age of 22. Thuy Hanh later married talented musician Minh Khang and moved to the South to build her career.
Thuy Hang chose to step back from the spotlight, taking care of her happy little family with both boys and girls. Thuy Hanh and Minh Khang also have two lovely daughters.
